Edward R. Frank
is a man on a mission

Edward is a retired Colonie Police Department Deputy Chief.  Partnering with his son, Edward A. Frank, a Colonie Police Department Investigator, the two developed a mobile DWI awareness display including a trailer containing a “Celebrate Life” message on the outside.  Inside are graphics detailing two area crashes, a model jail cell, and a mirrored coffin. One of the area crashes described is the one in which Kathleen A. Campion was killed and injuries to her friend, Sharon McLetchie.  The other crash is one involving underage drinking resulting in serious injury.

The project is a message about choices.  After a courageous battle with cancer, Ed’s son died in August of 2005.  Ed Sr. believed in continuing their work-a team effort.  He has worked, tirelessly, to reach people, young and old, with his important messages.
